Watch The ABCs of Death Movie In Theather

Watch Movie Online Streaming Without Downloading. Twenty-six directors. Twenty-six ways to die. The ABC's OF DEATH is perhaps the most ambitious anthology film ever conceived with productions spanning fifteen countries and featuring segments directed by over two dozen of the world's leading talents in contemporary genre film. Inspired by children's educational books, the motion picture is comprised of twenty-six individual chapters; each helmed by a different director assigned a letter of the alphabet. The directors were then given free reign in choosing a word to create a story involving death. Provocative, shocking, funny and ultimately confrontational, THE ABC's OF DEATH is the definitive vision of modern horror diversity. (c) Magnolia

Review For The ABCs of Death

Gives a sense of horror movie making learned by rote - at a boy's school where girls have been admitted under sufferance.
Nigel Floyd-Time Out

Most are exercises in sickening bad taste, with an emphasis on human bodily functions.
V.A. Musetto-New York Post

At its best when merging shocks with social commentary, this halting compilation improves significantly as it nears the end of the alphabet.
Jeannette Catsoulis-New York Times

An enormously impressive and massively indulgent cornucopia of 26 short films from all over the world.
Andrew O'Hehir-Salon.com

It's a feast for fans of the genre and a guaranteed ordeal for everyone else.
Jeff Shannon-Seattle Times

There are just too many stories to fit into two hours - and even with fewer weak links, The ABCs of Death might have fallen short all the same.
Ian Buckwalter-NPR

In truth, this movie is more like a parade of overtly shocking and disturbing images, done almost as a one-upsmanship contest rather than any actual need to say anything.
Jeffrey M. Anderson-Combustible Celluloid

It's a successful experiment, but like all experiments in their infancy, it needs to be repeated and tweaked before it becomes a standard.
Kevin Carr-7M Pictures

If we can make any overall assessment of this demented Rorschach test, it's this: had this been a real medical study, it would demand the institutionalisation of all participants.
Simon Miraudo-Quickflix

...two hours of brutality, excrement and viscera. Yes, some segments disturb and repel, and many try for dark humor, but the squirms they induce are far from pleasurable.
Jamie S. Rich-Oregonian

Anthology movies are always hit and miss, but the average here seems a bit low.
Rich Cline-Shadows on the Wall

Collectively they become rather tedious, not so much a satisfying meal as a platter (or splatter) of gores d'oeuvres.
Philip French-Observer [UK]

With 26 short segments, it's expected that this horror anthology will be hit and miss. But the experiment is an intriguing one, as the producers gave 26 filmmakers a letter of the alphabet and complete artistic freedom.
Rich Cline-Contactmusic.com

Animal lovers will be particularly offended by some tales in this mind-numbing marathon.
Allan Hunter-Daily Express

It presents 26 disparate (read: in need of an editor) slices of dicing from 26 directors you've almost certainly never heard of (and indeed, the one you have - Ben Wheatley - feels tainted by association).
Catherine Shoard-Guardian [UK]

The fans will love. The faint-hearted won't.
Rebecca Ellis-Little White Lies

Patchy but enjoyable, this is an excellent horror talent showcase that, if nothing else, feels like it offers value for money with the sheer number of shocks and splats it delivers.
Rosie Fletcher-SFX Magazine

The overall execution of the project never quite lives up to the concept, with too many of the films feeling lazy and poorly thought out.
Matthew Turner-ViewLondon

An interesting idea, but with so many cooks involved, the broth isn't quite good enough.
Owen Williams-Empire Magazine

It's an idea that sounds better in concept than in execution.
Todd Jorgenson-Cinemalogue.com

The quality of each segment varies widely.
Charles Ealy-Austin American-Statesman

A good concept yields scattershot results in this horror-film anthology.
Marjorie Baumgarten-Austin Chronicle

The ABCs of Death is a repulsive and excessive excuse of blood-soaked entertainment that should make the horror fan in you squeal with delight.
Chris Sawin-Examiner.com

Weighed down by some sub-par entries and lacking some great genre minds, this compilation overall pales in comparison to other recent anthologies.
Brent Simon-Shared Darkness

Judging from their contributions, some of the filmmakers behind this 26-part anthology find death less fearsome than the thought of a cute girl farting.
Peter Keough-Boston Phoenix

Review For Avatar

Cameron's 'Avatar': Brainy & Beautiful
Joe Baltake-Passionate Moviegoer

The narrative would be ho-hum without the spectacle. But what spectacle! Avatar is dizzying, enveloping, vertiginous ... I ran out of adjectives an hour into its 161 minutes.
David Edelstein-New York Magazine

I had the feeling coming out of this movie that I haven't felt since maybe I was eleven years old in 1977 and I saw Star Wars for the first time.
A.O. Scott-At the Movies

It's a remote-control movie experience, a high-tech "wish you were here" scribbled on a very expensive postcard.
Stephanie Zacharek-Salon.com

The most-hyped movie of the year just about merits it.
Amy Biancolli-San Francisco Chronicle

Big money, big risk, pretty big reward. That's been his consistent pattern, and it's high time to give credit where credit is overdue: James Cameron delivers.
Rick Groen-Globe and Mail

Avatar showed me something I have never seen before. It reminded me of what movies can do, of what they're capable of, of what the experience of sitting down for three hours in a dark room can really mean.
Will Leitch-Deadspin

Cameron's $300 million baby is nothing but a 5- and 10-cent snore.
Al Alexander-The Patriot Ledger

This sci-fi epic would be a masterpiece if judged solely on its technical merits.
Rob Humanick-Projection Booth

Cameron is flexing his creative muscles, but the film never overcomes the nagging feeling that he's also simply going through the motions.
Rob Humanick-Projection Booth

Piercing the hype, Avatar may not be a "game changer", but I'll be damned if the game didn't just get a hell of a lot more interesting from here on in.
Ali Gray-TheShiznit.co.uk

While it wasn't the most original narrative, it serves the film well, even if it was merely a template for Cameron to show us this gorgeous world and its landscapes.
Jeff Beck-Examiner.com

Planet Pandora's plant and animal life is done with a wonder that has been often absent from fiction screens.
Donald J. Levit-ReelTalk Movie Reviews

It's both wildly original and hauntingly familiar, like Dances With Wolves in a galaxy far, far away.
Neil Pond-American Profile

It is far too long and the romance is half-hearted. Still, you'd have to travel very far to feel so fully immersed in another world.
Stella Papamichael-Digital Spy

It's good. It should have been better.
Widgett Walls-Needcoffee.com

It may not change the world, but it'll certainly provide enjoyment to many millions of people all over it.
Mike Edwards-What Culture

As a fantasy epic, Avatar is an undeniable victory ... but outside of the narrow confines of immersion he's managed, it's also quite limited.
Joshua Starnes-ComingSoon.net

The nature scenes are nothing short of magical in this film.
James Plath-Movie Metropolis

Spiritually moving, visually daring and emotionally stirring, Avatar is classic storytelling at its very best.
R. L. Shaffer-IGN DVD

"Avatar" looks amazing on Blu-ray. If the plot wasn't so pedestrian, it could have been a great film. Paul Chambers, CNN.
Paul Chambers-CNNRadio

If you ever wondered what a live-action Hayao Miyazaki film would look like, Avatar is a damn good approximation.
Jeff Meyers-Metro Times (Detroit, MI)

You can feel Cameron's anger and his passion every time a Na'vi roars. The most exhilarating moments are those when you can feel the director urging his actors to let go completely, to become furious, and to unleash hell.
Simon Miraudo-Quickflix

For all the justifiable knocks on James Cameron's writing, his personal investment in any project is never in doubt. With "Avatar," his passion for pushing the very possibilities of film as a medium pays off. Here's hoping we see him again before 2021.
Nick Rogers-Suite101.com

Avatar is a joyous celebration of story craft and the visual possibilities of cinema. Cameron had set his sights on taking the technology of film where no one had gone before. And he delivers. Avatar is stunning. Cameron and Peter Jackson's Weta Digital h

Watch Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Movie In Theather

Watch Movie Online Streaming Without Downloading. Taiwanese filmmaker Ang Lee took a break from making Western period dramas to fashion this wild and woolly martial arts spectacular featuring special effects and action sequences courtesy of the choreographer of The Matrix (1999), Yuen Woo Ping. In the early 19th century, martial arts master Li Mu Bai (Chow Yun-Fat) is about to retire and enter a life of meditation, though he quietly longs to avenge the death of his master, who was killed by Jade Fox (Cheng Pei-pei). He gives his sword, a fabled 400-year-old weapon known as Green Destiny, to his friend, fellow martial arts wizard and secret love Yu Shu Lien (Michelle Yeoh), so that she may deliver it to Sir Te (Sihung Lung). Upon arrival in Peking, Yu happens upon Jen (Zhang Ziyi), a vivacious, willful politician's daughter. That night, a mysterious masked thief swipes Green Destiny, with Yu in hot pursuit -- resulting in the first of several martial arts action set pieces during the film. Li arrives in Beijing and eventually discovers that Jen is not only the masked thief but is also in cahoots with the evil Jade. In spite of this, Li sees great talent in Jen as a fighter and offers to school her in the finer points of martial arts and selflessness, an offer that Jen promptly rebukes. This film was first screened to much acclaim at the 2000 Cannes, Toronto, and New York film festivals and became a favorite when Academy Awards nominations were announced in 2001: Tiger snagged ten nods and later secured four wins for Best Cinematography, Score, Art Direction, and Foreign Language Film. ~ Jonathan Crow, Rovi

Review For Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

The smartest and smartest-looking action movie of the year.
Glenn Lovell-San Jose Mercury News

It's abundantly clear that Lee, in conjunction with fight choreographer Yuen Wo-Ping (famed for The Matrix), has brought to these standard tropes his own elevating, near-feline sensibilities.
Rick Groen-Globe and Mail

Chow reveals astonishing depths. But the revelation is Yeoh.
Peter Travers-Rolling Stone

It's rare to find a film that satisfies our craving for pop while giving us the transcendence of poetry.
Peter Rainer-New York Magazine

High art meets high spirits in a rapturously romantic epic that really kicks butt.
Richard Corliss-TIME Magazine

You need a roadmap to find the hidden masterpiece.
David Edelstein-Slate

I'm glad to join the ranks of fans who continue to be breath taken with this incredible epic.
Felix Vasquez Jr.-Cinema Crazed

Ang Lee's crowd-pleasing martial arts actioner is captivating and thrilling from beginning to end.
Emanuel Levy-EmanuelLevy.Com

Amazing, magical martial arts fairy tale.
Nell Minow-Common Sense Media

There's an ethereal dramatic effect here that transcends a primary function of imagination and storytelling.
Cole Smithey-ColeSmithey.com

Often imitated, never equaled, "Crouching Tiger" soars because it showcases culture as much as cutting-edge martial arts. Unfinished business, unspoken passions and unwanted prejudices stand beside fists (and feet) of fury in a lyrical film.
Nick Rogers-Suite101.com

Lee brought a distinct elegance to the wuxia genre of mythic, lyrical martial arts pictures...a breathtaking visual and emotional experience for the viewer...[Blu-ray]
Peter Canavese-Groucho Reviews

The movie is good, sometimes very good, but I suspect it's a masterpiece only for those who haven't seen all the earlier masterpieces that equal or surpass it.
Rob Gonsalves-eFilmCritic.com

With his latest film, Lee has created a lyrical fairy tale for adults, a sublime synthesis of martial arts action with dramatic sophistication.
Jason Gorber-Film Scouts

The film has so many different elements that there's enough in it to appeal to almost everyone.
Ken Hanke-Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC)

...my expectations were high, and I wasn't disappointed.
John Venable-Supercala.com

Lo and behold. An action movie that isn't about 'seize the day' or 'follow your heart' opportunism.
Jeffrey Overstreet-Looking Closer

It's a feeling akin to seeing Peter Pan fly for the first time or watching the first light-saber duel in Star Wars.
Judith Egerton-Courier-Journal (Louisville, KY)

Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon mixes In the Mood for Love's unobtainable romance with Dancer in the Dark's selfless-to-the-end philosophy.
Gabe Leibowitz-Film and Felt

Within five minutes of the opening you'll wonder when was the last time you felt so alive, so excited in a cinema.
Harry Guerin-RTE Interactive (Dublin, Ireland)

It's FANTASTIC!
Ron Wells-Film Threat

You've never seen a martial arts film like this one.
Jean Lowerison-San Diego Metropolitan

A haunting, tragic fairy tale for the ages.
Margaret A. McGurk-Cincinnati Enquirer

Its breathtaking landscapes and tense physical confrontations feel like throwbacks to spaghetti (Sergio Leone) and bread and butter (John Ford) westerns.
Mark Halverson-Sacramento News & Review

Review For Not Fade Away

The movie is a psalm to those who, far from pursuing the path of the Rolling Stones, stayed trapped under a rock.
Anthony Lane-New Yorker

This film could have been -- should have been, even -- something special. But it's not.
Ricardo Baca-Denver Post

The period details are spot-on and the soundtrack is great.
J. R. Jones-Chicago Reader

Yes, it's about rock and New Jersey, but it's also about getting a life going and dreaming, and that's timeless, classic stuff.
Tom Long-Detroit News

Well-observed but occasionally disjointed, it's a film that's more about thematic tone, sound and images than it is driven by plot.
Claudia Puig-USA Today

There are plenty of laughs along with the melodrama as the band and its members struggle through young adulthood.
Bill Goodykoontz-Arizona Republic

Hits notes you thought only Chase's primo Sopranos could reach.
Al Alexander-The Patriot Ledger

Sopranos creator David Chase returns to New Jersey, but his film loses its way
Robert Denerstein-Movie Habit

An exhilarating rush of keenly observant, sometimes barbed, occasionally funny and often poignant detail, and all of it feels right.
Neil Pond-American Profile

Unfortunately, Chase's failed group is no more interesting than one you or your friends might have played in.
Dan Lybarger-KC Active

Beautifully captures the impact of the British rock 'n' roll invasion on young teens in the suburbs (I was there). . .But even with accurate details, the film loses its way.
Nora Lee Mandel-Film-Forward.com

While it has a personal feel, the performances are a mixed bag and it too often resorts to nostalgic cliches, especially when the music isn't playing.
Todd Jorgenson-Cinemalogue.com

...a rollicking comedy about growing up and striking out
Chris Barsanti-PopMatters

Not Fade Away is about the imperishable idea of youth and the promise of endless wide-open possibility. Time will always be on its side.
Kelly Vance-East Bay Express

Not Fade Away is intimate, episodic and achingly poignant. It's also woefully insubstantial. Chase has created less of a dramatic narrative and more of an awkwardly paced, formulaic collage.
Jeff Meyers-Metro Times (Detroit, MI)

Good- although I think it would work better as a TV series. I wish there was a season 2.
Chris Bumbray-JoBlo's Movie Emporium

I don't mean to belittle the memory of an entire decade, except when I do.
Pete Vonder Haar-Houston Press

Because its more about intertwining themes than it is about obvious plot and conflict, it has melancholic energy. It revels in the mystery, appreciation, and ultimately creation of art-from a guy who was empowered and inspired by rock himself.
Eric Melin-Scene-Stealers.com

A wistful, bittersweet remembrance of the emerging '60s counterculture.
Susan Granger-SSG Syndicate

Not Fade Away is the greenest film of the new year, recycling '60s cliches with alacrity.
Christian Toto-Big Hollywood

God save us from boomer nostalgia and its endless idealization of the '60s.
Jeff Meyers-Orlando Weekly

Rock & roll is salvation, rebellion, fun, sex, and the greatest middle finger ever extended by one generation at another. If you actually believe all of that, even a little bit, David Chase's far-from-perfect Not Fade Away is hard to dislike.
Perry Seibert-TV Guide's Movie Guide

It's not a great film, but perhaps Chase is the victim of impossibly high expectations.
Dale Roe-Austin American-Statesman

The story is unfocused and, at times, directionless. Characters disappear. And, the whimsical ending seemingly comes out of nowhere. The best I can do is give "Not Fade Away" a marginal recommendation.

Review For Finding Nemo

A genuinely funny and touching film that, in less than a decade, has established itself as a timeless classic.
Stephen Whitty-Newark Star-Ledger

It makes even more compelling what is still my all-time favorite Pixar film.
Nell Minow-Chicago Sun-Times

A timeless delight.
Elizabeth Weitzman-New York Daily News

In this seamless blending of technical brilliance and storytelling verve, the Pixar team has made something as marvelously soulful and innately, fluidly American as jazz.
Lisa Schwarzbaum-Entertainment Weekly

Nemo, with its ravishing underwater fantasia, manages to trump the design glamour of earlier Pixar films.
Richard Corliss-TIME Magazine

Very clever and imaginative indeed.
Todd McCarthy-Variety

The animation is so sleek and the action so perfectly paced that even the sharpest viewer could be forgiven for overlooking some unimportant lapses in internal logic.
Donald Clarke-Irish Times

It looks more stunning than ever.
Derek Malcolm-This is London

An Easter treat.
Allan Hunter-Daily Express

This is a classic - bring on the sequel!
Lewis Bazley-Little White Lies

Every frond and fin pokes out at you.
Tim Robey-Daily Telegraph

Re-releasing Nemo in 3D gives a whole new generation the chance to enjoy it in cinemas for the first time - as well as adding extra depth to the wonderful scenes from the ocean deep.
Graham Young-Birmingham Post

Though some scary parts may make the very young fret unduly, the film also puts forward some thoughtful messages for both children and their parents. [Blu-ray 3D]
Peter Canavese-Groucho Reviews

Detail is what holds your attention from frame to frame: the panorama of soft and hard corals, the different textured sea bottoms, the undulating seaweed, and the schooling sardines that look flashy and real as can be.
James Plath-Movie Metropolis

I don't exactly worship Pixar, but "Finding Nemo" is truly a great film.
Paul Chambers-Movie Chambers

Gill is Platoon's Sgt. Elias if he'd survived Sgt. Barnes' treachery and returned to civilian life weary and hard-bitten from his experiences. And also a fish.
Pete Vonder Haar-Houston Press

Finding Nemo 3D is a quality post-conversion experience that successfully enhances the 2003 film's original standout visuals.
Ben Kendrick-ScreenRant

The 3D gives the images a little more depth but they already had heft and weight. The 3D is a money-making gimmick, nothing more.
Marshall Fine-Hollywood & Fine

A great blend of storytelling and technology.
John Wirt-Advocate (Baton Rouge, LA)

It's downright curmudgeonly to remain focused on the negatives when the rest of the picture is saturated with invention and wit.
Matt Brunson-Creative Loafing

It's bright, it's beautiful and it hasn't aged a day. So why, then, do we need to see it in 3-D?
Rob Vaux-Mania.com

A rare example of a movie that not only survives its 3-D conversion but benefits from it
Mike Scott-Times-Picayune

It was as funny as I remember and brilliant because it is subtle. It just knocks it out of the park. I love everything about this movie, one of my favorite Pixar movies of all time, 5/5 Schmoes. The new sound/3D adds to the greatness that is Nemo.
Kristian Harloff-Schmoes Know

If you're fishing for fun in an ocean of movie mediocrity, grab the kids or the grandkids, fork out a few extra bucks and see this one in three-dimensions.
Gary Wolcott-Tri-City Herald

It's a great movie, so much fun, an acheivement that should be enjoyed by children of all ages and worth seeing it in 3D.
Mark Ellis-Schmoes Know
